Announcements are messages which appear on the main dashboard when a user logs in. They can be targeted internally at laboratory staff, or externally to doctors who use the Doctors Portal to view results.

Fields

• Created: The system generated creation date
• Title: The Title of the Announcement message
• Message: The actual message content. Use the rich text editor to format the message as required.
• Expires: The date when the message will automatically be removed from the users screen. It will still remain in the database.
• Target: Choose Internal for laboratory staff, Choose Doctors Portal to target at Doctors who log into the Doctors portal.
