Once results have been captured they can be signed out. You will sign out entire departments, and not individual tests.

Results, are grouped by department. By default, results are presented in a chicklet style format.

Fields

• Button group at the top of the Department panel
  • "Flash": Switches from Grid format to a chicklet style format for viewing results
  • "Grid": Switches from Flash format to a Grid format for viewing results. The Grid format allows you to view QC, Checks & History, comments entered and more
  • Accepted Only: Displays only the Accepted results for a department. An (x/y) indicator appears after the title where x is the total number of results accepted for the department and y is the total number of tests requested for the department.
  • All Work: Displays all results entered, including checks. The number in brackets after is the number of total results entered including checks.
  • Not Done: Displays the tests which do not have results. An (x/y) indicator appears after the title where x is the total number of results pending entry for the department and y is the total number of tests requested for the department.

Our proprietary patent-pending result presentation format. Each result is represented by a colour-coded chicklet

• Colour: Blue for normal results, amber for normal low or normal high results, red for critically abnormal results
• Status Indicator Icon: If the result is normal high or normal low a warning triangle appears, if the result is critically abnormal an alert symbol appears
• Test Name: The name of the test that the result is for
• Test Result: The qualitative and quantitative result recorded
• Reference Range: The reference range if applicable
• Result Flag: Result flags such as low (L), high (H), critical low (CL), critical high (CH)

• Test
  • Test: The Name of the Test
  • Instrument: The Instrument used to perform the Test
  • Technician: The name of the person who entered the result
  • QC button: Toggle the QC button to view the Levy Jenning chart for the last 7 days for the Test on the Instrument
  • History: Toggle the History button to view previous Patient results for the Test
• Result Timeline (including checks)
  • Large numbers/Text: The Result qualitative or quantitative
  • Reference range: The reference range appears directly below
  • Hold/Accepted Status: Two large blue blocks indicate whether the result is on hold and accepted. Styling is identical to that of the Result Entry screen
  • Red up/down button: Toggle this button on to activate/deactivate the Reject fields
  • Text input: Enter the reason for rejection of the result
  • Urgent button: Indicates whether the result is to be reprocessed urgently or not
  • Reject button: Click to confirm that the result is being rejected
  • Green Print button: Toggle the Print button off to disable printing of this result on the result report
• Comment
  • Blue information block: Any information entered by the laboratory staff when capturing the result
  • Comment button: Toggle the Comment button to show/hide the large text entry field below the Comment search box
  • Search: You can search your comment dictionary for "canned text". Note that only comments for the Test Department will be searched.
  • Add button: Click the Add button to add the comment to the Result
  • Comment: Free type text field which allows you to format text as required. This appears on the result report.

At the bottom of each Department section is a Comment block. This appears on the result report.
