Once a requisition has been captured and the specimen run through the appropriate analyzers, the results need to be captured in order for a result report to be printed.
Using the Result Entry screen you can view previous results, capture checks (reruns), inspect QC results, comment on results and much more.
The red (in the illustration) banner indicates Patient and Doctor information. The banner turns red for urgent requisitions. The default state is blue. All Hospital Patients are Urgent and thus red. Outpatients are blue, unless explicitly flagged as urgent.
Tests are grouped by Department. Each Department then therefore has its own Result Entry panel. The panel is collapsible by clicking the up/down arrow at the top-right of the panel.
It is important to note that only Tests sent to your Branch will appear here. You will not be able to open up a Requisition for another Branch and expect to see Tests for that Branch here. Instead the Tests together with the selected Tubes must be shipped.
Clicking the Checks & History button will retrieve a chronological data log (newest to oldest) of checks and previous results for the Test.
At the bottom of each Department section is a Comment block. This appears on the result report.
