The Control Programme is simply a logical grouping of Tests and/or Test Profiles which are performed either at a scheduled interval or on demand as indicated by an instrument. You may choose to group several Tests into one Control Programme or split the Tests up into separate Control Programmes. It is not uncommon for a single Instrument to have multiple Control Programmes, each Control Programme sometimes having just one Test.
Often instrument require multiple Control levels. In this case, each Control level should be its own Control Programme. The level should be indicated in the Name.
- Name: Name your Control Programme. The Instrument manufacturer or Instrument user manual will generally indicate the Control Programme name as well as the number of level which must be run.
- Master Programme: Select the Master Programme this Control Programme belongs to. Usually there is one Master Programme per Instrument.
- Instrument Code: For interfaced instruments which send Control data
- Notes: Information for any laboratory staff entering Control data points once the Controlhas been performed on the Instrument
- Test Profiles: A collection of Test Profiles that form part of this Control Programme. Text search field. Once selected, click the adjacent Add button.
- Tests: A collection of Tests that form part of this Control Programme. Text search field. Once selected, click the adjacent Add button.
